Finding Your Confidence

"You are far too smart to be the only thing standing in your way"

Have you ever held yourself back from something out of fear? Fear that you might fail. Fear that you would embarrass yourself and be made fun of? I have.

The quote above is simple but really speaks to me. I spent a long time standing in my own way.

Thinking I would never be good enough. Over thinking every idea I've ever had because I didn't think anyone would like them. Don't let the fear of failing at something you've never tried stop you from doing it. Don't worry about what others will think of you. Be unique. Be the person God has created you to be.

I start each morning by reading my devotional The Confident Woman by Joyce Meyer to get daily motivation and inspiration from God. Gaining confidence in God's plan for me through each devotion. Having confidence in God allows us to live a bold and authentic life. Be secure with who you are and the path God has planned for you.

If you have a goal go after it. Don't let yourself be the only thing standing in your way. Make a plan to achieve those goals. Reach out to others for support. Pray and ask God to show you the way he wants you to be successful.
